Imagine that a busy mother had a great love for building sand castles that brought her and others joy and inspiration. If she were to go to a big sand castle company who hired her to build a sand castle, she would have to pitch her project, have planning meetings, submit proposals and budgets, go through lengthy approval processes, negotiate contracts, have meetings on how to market and promote the sand castle, and have the pressures that come with the job . Then she would have to make appearances about her sand castle, go to the sand castle conventions, and have more meetings. But one day, this mother feels that it would be best for her family to leave the fast-paced world of sand castle companies. She has an idea, a divine idea . . .

What if this busy mother could walk out her back door and build beautiful sand castles in her back yard without requiring her to leave her home and children so often. Then she would simply open her gate and allow everyone to come to her backyard to enjoy her sand castles (after all, tens of thousands of visitors already come to her backyard each month). Will the mother sell less sand castles in the end? Perhaps. But you may just catch the smell of homemade bread coming through her back door. And you may just hear her playing with her children more. But she will still be using her gift to make sand castles, while having more time to spend on what matters most. So now instead of going to sand castle city to enjoy this mother’s sand castles, you are now invited to visit her backyard–jennyphillips.com!
