About Jenny

Jenny Phillips can still remember the power she felt listening to gospel music as a young girl and the desire she had even then to help others feel the same power. That vision carried her to where she is now—a leader in inspirational music and one of the  highest-selling LDS music artists of all time. She has released 15 albums, and performed across at over 1,000 performances in twenty one countries.

Phillips began her professional musical journey in 1999, after graduating from BYU, when she independently released her first album. Jenny eventually became a top-selling artist with Deseret Book’s music label and Jenny has become known throughout the world for her powerful presentations and music for the youth of the church. Her music has been translated into 19 languages and performed by youth groups in over 50 nations.

During the creation of her second and third albums, Phillips formed a choir to tour with her. They began small—only eight members performing twice a month. Now the choir has grown to 140 rotating members that perform with Jenny across the world. The Jenny Phillips choir has recorded on over a dozen CDs including EFY and Hilary Weeks projects.

Jenny lives in Saratoga Springs, Utah with her husband and four children. In 2011, Jenny left the Deseret Book music label and all retail stores in order to reduce the stress and time commitments that naturally come with a music label so that she could focus more on her young family. Jenny still writes  and releases music and books, but exclusively on www.jennyphillips.com where her music still goes out to tens of thousands of people all over the world every year.
