  • Inspiring Presentations and Classes
Gain knowledge, improve your teaching skills, and be inspired! Twenty-seven presentations and classes cover topics such as the art of gentle persuasion, teaching children to be strong writers, working with reluctant learners, teaching with littles, and preparing homeschooled children for college.
  • Good & Beautiful Store
Explore and purchase all the Good & Beautiful curriculum, other homeschool products, and workshop exclusive resources. Knowledgeable people will be at each table to answer questions and demonstrate how the curriculum works. Be the first to see and handle the Year 2 history, new typing program, new language arts and literature curriculum, new science unit packets, and more! We will also have items available exclusively at the convention such as science kits that go along with the curriculum, low-priced art supply sets that go along with the curriculum, the perfect storage containers and organizers, recommended book packs that go along with the science and language arts and literature curriculum, spelling kits, “imagination station” boxes, writers workshop kits, and more! Convention participants receive 10% off + no shipping charges, + a free gift for every $50 spent. Choose from a selection of 10 free gifts. (Note: The curriculum is never more than 10% off.)
  • Sharing Room
Visit a “Sharing Room” during one of the breaks and gain ideas and tips from other homeschool parents, as a moderator guides the discussion with specific questions on the topics.
  • Used Book Sale
This unique used book sale features only books from the Good & the Beautiful book list. Choose from thousands of “very good” to “like new” books for just $2 each–all books of high moral, literary, and educational value. Build a home library of the best books at a tremendous savings.
  • Favorite Finds Displays & Give Aways
Jenny Phillips and her convention board share displays over 100 of the their best homeschool finds. These displays include items in the areas of music appreciation, art, science, math, history, nature studies, top-recommended books on homeschooling, educational toys, and much more. During the convention, grab a packet that has all the information about the products and where to get them, and then go explore. This is a great opportunity to handle and look through these items. You will also choose two of the favorite finds items for which to enter drawings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring children?
Only nursing babies are allowed at the convention. Babies must be taken out if they cry or become noisy.

Is this a multi-faith event?
Yes. Just like the curriculum, the convention is faith-based, taking a general Christian worldview that focuses on learning and Christ-like character, and not specific doctrinal beliefs. Click here to see our statement of faith.

Can I register for just Friday or just Saturday?
Unfortunately, you can only register for both days.

Will there be classes for children?
There will be no classes for children of any ages this year.

What food will be served? Are there options for vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free?
Snack: Veggie & Fruit plate with ranch, hummus, and pita bread
dinner: A fresh and delicious salad and burrito bar, just pass on the items you cannot eat–there will be lots of food to choose from if you need vegan, dairy-free, or gluten-free food
lunch: boxed lunches with a sandwich or salad, fruit, and a treat. Salads are meat-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free. If you need a salad, let us know at the registration table when you check in, and we will set a salad aside for you.

Will you have vendors at the workshop?
No. We have selected products from other companies for sale at the workshop, and we are featuring other companies and their products through our “favorite finds” displays.

What is your cancellation policy?

Between April 15th and June 1st: You may receive a 60% refund.
