Castles
"We saw a lot of beautiful castles on this tour. When I was here at Caerphilly Castle I could almost imagine what the castle must've looked like when it was in it's full glory. It was amazing to think about the fact that actual people lived here and to wonder what stories they had."

The Ring of Kerry
"On our last day we went to the beautiful Ring of Kerry in Ireland and then headed up to Limerick for our last fireside."

Having Fun
"Traveling with the choir is a lot of fun. There was 24 of us on this trip. We tried Irish Ice Cream ("bread" flavor was my favorite), Irish Dancing, and fitting 24 people and 40 pieces of luggage in 4 cars!

The Tinern Abbey
"One of our favorite places was the Tintern Abbey in Wales (and the Wye Valley). Being an English major, and having studied William Wordsworth, this was an incredible place for me to visit. The visit to Tintern Abbey was made all the more exciting by one of the group members proposing to another group member at the abbey. She said yes!

Getting Ready for Dublin Fireside
"We went to church in Dublin and then had several hours until our fireside. So we all hung out at the church and stretched out (this isn't our usual routine), warmed up, and took advantage of one of the hairdressers in our group.

The Firesides
The highlight of the trip were the firesides and meeting the great people of these countries. After the last fireside on our last night, we walked outside to load up the cars, and there was the most incredible sunset in the sky. A great closing to a great trip.
